| The goats were butting heads the other night. Rog finally let the moms and babies out, and we had a rodeo for awhile in the barnyard :) |

| Rog dumps one load of grass clippings over the fence when he mows the lawn. Billy was too lazy to stretch his neck down to nibble, so he laid down right in the middle, and that way it was easier ! Tagg took advantage of him - he makes a nice pillow. |

| Friday (all day) and Saturday morning, Niel Boyce and Zac and Rog and Grandpa D and the kids worked to pipe the ditch on Zac's future home lot. It went really well. |

| After two weeks of complaining of pain and limping, Tagg went to the 2nd doctor for an x-ray. Sure enough! Mom was right ! It was broken. The Fibula (small bone in the lower leg). He will have to wear a boot for about 4 weeks. |

| My Dad "Grandpa D" is a master gardener. Always has been. Mom and Dad work very hard in the garden, and we try an help out where we can. This year the pesky deer got in before we got the electric fence up. |

| The fence gave us a little trouble this year, and Roger D. worked and worked to get it going. They finally ended up buying a new "shocker", and working with the ground wires extensively. Mom and I sat in the shade and watched the guys work :) Over the past couple of days, each of them have been shocked......Dad, Roger, Zac, Treyson and Tagg. Zac was leaning against the shop, and Treyson touched the wire, and then touched Zac, and it dropped Zac to his knees, but didn't hurt Treyson. The first day when we couldn't get it going, we thought they had, and no one wanted to touch it to see, and Tagg said he would for a dollar, and he reached out and grabbed hold, and it didn't faze him ! He held out his hand for the dollar from Dad, haha. It wasn't working right, that's for sure. NOW it's working right - 7000 volts, so hopefully no one wants to bet another dollar :) |

| The boys wanted to try out Crossfit's obstacle course at the fair. Treyson is on the far side (butt in the air), Tagg is in blue (closest to me). They had a great time. |

| Serious Thatcher :) He wasn't mad or anything, just one of the few times without a smile. We really didn't do too much at the fair this year - kinda low key, and I didn't take many pics. |

| I would have liked it bigger than it turned out to be, and higher up on the barn, but because of the nice even boards down low, and the safety factor for the grand kids, we opted for it here. Roger was very leery. He didn't know how it was going to turn out, and didn't want an embarassing disaster for all to see,..... We got it taped off one night before dark. |

| Early the next morning we started painting at 8am. Tagg was the only one who showed up at first - but wait !!! |

| Next morning we taped off the white stripes, and proceeded to pain the red. |

| After a second coat of blue (to darken it), we placed the white star in the middle. Not an exact replica of our American Flag, but seriously, I couldn't handle painting 50 little stars, so THAT will have to do ! WE LOVE IT !! |
