Great time at the Property last night

To celebrate Mom's birthday, we gathered at the Property.  Erika's family was able to come (Mark's will come today).  The little boys were sure happy to see Tiana, and Brian and Colton, and they all played, and chased, and swam, and then as it got dark, they played "Ghost in the Graveyard".  Thatch thought he was just as big, and was running around with all of them.  The adults just sat and talked and enjoyed the beautiful evening. 

The water MUST have been cold, but they all got in and had a great time. 

Tiana even got out on the swing.  Brian doesn't ever get in the water, Aaron got a new smark phone.  Erika in her Disney Hat, Mom making sure Thatcher doesn't take a header in the creek.

They are now both 77 years young, and will celebrate there 58th anniversary tomorrow !

Fair wrap up, and back to real life.......

Treyson and Tagg participated in some games at the fair, MC'd by no other than Grandma Shirlee !!  Yeah !  In this one, they had to chew up bubble gum, and blow a bubble.

The "Snails and Tails" guy had this gorgeous tortoise roaming around.  Thatch was fascinated with it.

She finally held it - VERY GENTLY AND QUICKLY  :)

I sure appreciated my family for supporting me and Stacy and Brenda.  I really liked it when they hung out with me under the shade in our booth. 

Tagg wore this backwards, because the front was dirty :)

We stopped by the Brooks to visit the kids, because we weren't sure if we would be seeing them before they left on Sunday.

Sunday morning we made the rounds and said good-bye before Cam had to head for home.

I Love Being Here And Love Seeing Every One And Kissing The Babies And Playing With Payson And Thatcher And I Hope I was A very big help with the baby and Payson.

I will miss you guys very much and do not want to go I love you and I sorry For fighting with Treyson  and  Tagg so Much . I Am Very Over Competitive And Thanks Kasey For Getting Me On Wicked And All The Other Rides I Never Thought I Would Do And I Love Her For It. The Derby Was Awesome And I was The Best Derby Ever. And The Rodeo Was Awesome Thanks For Taking Me And Ask CJ If She..... (and here she must have been interrupted, because this is where it ends :) 

Kacey and kids were leaving also, for the Philippines.  They flew out of Terminal 1 with Alaskan Airlines, so we got to see them at the airport !

After I got Cam off to Arizona, I headed down to 5900 S. to see Roger's new digs at the Murray Depot.

Last night (Monday) we had a doozy of a thunder, lightening, and rain storm.



It poured, and our rain gutter was clogged.......

So what does Roger D. do?    He made me VERY VERY nervous !

More Fair AND a Drive In Movie !

Our new baby goats, Paris and France have been sleeping in the manger :)

Yesterday we went up to Grandpa and Grandma Ben's and took some bark for their front flower bed.  We took out all of the red lava rocks, and replaced them with the bark.  

The two chickens and one rooster took first place !  Grandpa Roger must be a good chicken farmer :)

I was tickled that the quilt I made for Landon and Kacey got first place AND honorable mention !

If you look where Cam's finger is pointing, she won first place on the frame she hot glued sea shells (from Rocky Point) on.  Yeah !  Three shelves down are Treyson and Tagg's pinewood derby cars.  Fair time is fun !

Later we went to a Drive In movie !  Guardians of the Galaxy.  I haven't been to one in years.............and this is probably the LAST one I will ever go to.  I just want to be comfortable in a movie theater, with good sound, and no distractions.   Guess I'm getting to be an old fogey. 

The kids had a great time though, and that's what matters :)
