The Annual Fire Picture :)

We lit the burn pile on fire, just like we do every year on Thanksgiving. It was covered in snow and sure smoked alot, but finally got going. Unfortunately Mark and his family were not able to be here this year :( Enjoy the pics !!

The Hike that wasn't meant to be.......

A few weeks ago, my good friend Teresa and I decided to hike Angel's Landing in Zion National Park. I just KNEW I could do it. Well to say the least, I was humbled.

It wasn't so much the fear of heights. It was the fear of death :) One missed step, one slipped grip on the chain, one trip..........and there are NO SECOND CHANCES.

Our Two Cams

We had a great time in Vegas with these two and their parents last weekend. Hopefully I can get all of the pictures posted soon. I couldn't wait with these two.

What I mean to say, is that when you push the swing to it's highest point.........
if you fell out, you'd fall at LEAST 10' to the ground, maybe 12 or 13 !!

Upcoming trip

Camryn is excited for us our trip to Vegas to meet them.
So are we !!
We're going to stay at Excalibur, and swim in the pool, and attend the "King's Tournament", where we will root for our knight, and eat food with our fingers.
It should be a great trip.

The Bug has Bitten...........

No - not the H1N1 virus...........
The Genealogy Bug !

This "bug" can keep you at the computer for 4 hours straight, then after heading to bed and tossing and turning, and thinking (I just can't turn my brain off !!), I get back up for another 2 hour stint! Now here I am 4 1/2 hours later.........writing about it.

After only working for 4 days.........and starting VERY slowly, and being a "little" frustrated......(You know what I mean Sherie :) I have 28 NAMES ready to take to the temple to have work done.

I thought ALL of my family history work was complete by OTHER people. You know, we all have them.........Aunt Teresa, Grandma Tonks, Mom.............. I thought there would be NOTHING left for me to do - BOY WAS I WRONG !

I was jealous of Richard and Susan and Lorraine. How great would it be to be doing work for MY ancestors, and having a PERSONAL connection at the temple when I attend? Now I will know!

I still have MANY questions, and will be bugging Richard and Susan for help with my 6 pages of questions (I wrote them down).

I have been having "withdrawals" leaving Landon's blog. I have found a CURE :) I am one happy woman !
