Finishing up May

My dad's sister, Barbara Whittier died, and we spent the rainy Saturday on Memorial Day weekend at her viewing, funeral, graveside, and luncheon.
She was a good aunt to me.  I always knew she loved me.  I'm so happy she can be back with Uncle Short, and Grandma and Grandpa Dickson again.  She was 97 years old.
Here are my cousins (Aunt Barbara's kids) with their spouses standing behind them.
Left to right:  Bret and Margo, Jack and Robyn, Dianne (Jerry has passed away), Dee and Mary Lou, and Dick and Becky.

Bret and Margo live in Cedar City, where he runs/owns the cattle stockyards.  He has been a Stake President (maybe he still is?)  Jack and Robyn are serving a mission in Toronto, Canada, they have lived mostly in Colorado and Nebraska, but will be coming back to make their home in Morgan after their mission.  Diane lives in Hooper, Dee and Mary Lou live in Virginia, he is a veterinarian, and Dick and Becky live in Cache Valley.  Dick works as a sealer in the Logan temple, and Becky is retired from teaching.
Mom and I have been going to the temple early Tuesday mornings, every other week.
My Eternal Gravestone venture hasn't proved to be as appealing as I thought it would.  Becky Tonks Rasmussen's family sure loved the one I did for Val.  I think I could get the word out, and actually SHOW it to people, it would prove to be profitable.............but I'm not much of a "marketer".
The yellow balloons wouldn't stay blown up, they either popped or deflated.  I posted a couple of times on Morgan Mom's but it didn't seem to generate any questions or interest.
Becky and I got Mom and Lillus together for a nice visit.  Also there were Becky, Adele, and Eric.  We sat in mom's home and chatted for about 30-45 minutes on Sunday.  It was great to see them all again, and get caught up.
Roger and I rode up to the Porterville Cemetery - beautiful view.
We also rode up to East Canyon Dam, which is spilling.
Tagg has started Football Camp already, and the Maroon and White scrimmage is next week !
It was a lazy day in AZ for family there.  They watched Ghost Busters (the original) - Josiah had never seen it.  Swam, ate, and relaxed.

We cooked a hamburger at the property with Mom and Dad, and Zac and CJ and Tagg.  Thatcher was off with friends, Treyson was working (he came at the end).

I understand that Payson had a baseball tournament in Salem.

Growing Up...........

Here's a video of "highlights" of Treyson's graduation ceremony.

He's started work at WPR - and comes home TIRED.

Here we are on Memorial Day his first day at work, questioning him about his first day.  He sure looked tired.  Welcome to adulting Treyson...........

So proud of this kid/boy/man - Made this awesome video that will make you cry.
These days are big and so is the love, from family here and up above.  You have an angel by your side, a heavenly brother bursting with pride.  Love Mom, Dad, and Brothers.

CJ wrote this poem, and had it on the "money lei" that was made.
Great Job - it takes a village........(and family)
Love you Bud !!

Last part of May

Cash went to another fun place to play - I think in this pic, he's in a wind tunnel sort of contraption.  Looks like he's enjoying it !  With Manda working from home, they have hired a Nanny, and they are working through all that it entails.  Cash is trying to get used to it.   They are back in full swing in the pool now, but I haven't got any pics yet (hint hint Manda).

Josiah celebrated his 20th birthday on May 22nd :)
So glad he is home !!
Miss Bentley had the impacted wax cleaned from her ears.  She had to be put out for this quick procedure.  Landon said she did really well with it all.
This sweet girl sent me this selfie the other night, as we conversed through a bunch of texting.  She is getting to be quite the dancer, and has tried out for Academy Dance team.  Sure hope she makes it !
The hills are so pretty and green, but it hasn't really warmed up too much.  We still don't have water in our hole, and can't water the lawn yet.  Sure hope it comes in soon.
We did get a little garden planted, but it's a sad sight, and we will probably have to replant the peas.  All of the tomatoes, and peppers froze the other night, and will have to be replanted too :(
This weather !!!
Two old fogies.........
Grandma flew to Michigan with Bryce for...........
Easton's graduation.  Way to go Easton !!
He is Kelly's boy.  Also in this picture is Shaylie, Kelly's youngest.
Me and Mom and LuAnn went to the Layton Temple Open House.
Mother's Day pics.  We gathered at Grandma D's for ice cream sundaes.
Aaron, Tagg, Mark, Dev, Dad, Dax, Zac, Thatcher (in front), Dallin, Rog, and Treyson.

Treyson went to the Last Chance Dance - 70's style

So did Tagg

Zac and CJ sold their big laser, and are getting all the "firewood" bundled up in hopes of selling them out in front of Grandpa and Grandma's house.  Cleaning out the barn, looking forward to another major overhaul/remodel.
Treyson still hitting the gym hard.  He starts work on Sunday at WPR.  Sure hope that works out great for him.
Thatcher is playing baseball on a Morgan Co. Rec team.  Bode Nelson, his good friend is on the team.  He has played first, and catch, and even got in a little pitching.
Not sure who they all are, except for Bode and Thatcher.
Treyson graduated from Seminary

And Treyson graduates tonight - 7pm at the Dee Events Center.
Watch for pics and neat video tomorrow.

Let's play "Catch up" again !!

I've been pretty swamped during April, trying to get my new business up and ready to go by Memorial Day weekend.   Check out my new website here.  I've enjoyed putting videos together, and have created 12 that I hope to have in place by Memorial Day Weekend.

Some other things that went on in April are.................

Cam is getting ready to move into her new apartment.
Cash is enjoying his little trampoline
Manda and Bren got a beautiful tree in place in remembrance of his father who passed.
Can you tell this girl is excited for the new apartment.........and.......
Josiah is home today !!!  (May 14th)
CJ's doggie day care business is doing well, and we had Bright and Bex and Pays up for an afternoon of fun.  Bright LOVES the doggies.
So does Pays
Bexlee is undecided :)
We celebrated Grandma Ben's 87th birthday - and I didn't even get one pic of her !!   But the kids had a great time in Joni and Kerry's backyard.
I don't think Bex can take a picture without making a funny face !
Helping me cook (can't remember what we were making)
Limber much ??!!!
Bright has been in some dance competitions, where she did really well.
Bexlee loves to dance too :)
Bentley hanging with Dad at Pays' baseball games
Pays telling us all about his game :)
Both Treyson and Tagg had their wisdom teeth removed.  Tagg swelled up ALOT !!
Mowing is back in full swing.
We tried to clean ditch at Round Valley, but there was water.............  so it didn't go so well.
Treyson worked at McDonalds for about a month, and loved it so much he quit (haha).  He's going to be starting work at Wasatch Peaks when he graduates.  Roger keep commenting on how much he's going to miss him working on the lawns.  Such a good kid, that one.  Well, they all are for sure :)
Treyson took Bailee to her Prom (Weber HS)
Treyson and Cooper made a trip to Cali with Cooper's dad.  The Dad worked, and they played.
Sporting some new BLING !!
We got the apple trees trimmed in the garden.
Roger cooking chicken on the grill. Makes the garage smell DIVINE !
Trying to get the Property cleaned up from winter.  It's such a big job :(
I went to comedy show at the Egyptian theater with Gaylene and Annette.
We went to Hayleigh and Cooper's wedding reception.

Also, Manda and Bren and Cash came to visit for a week, but I will leave that for another post, hopefully soon !!!
