Football Days

Thursday, August 26th we watched the JV football game.  They won !
Treyson plays on the "O" line, and did very well.

Tagg's football game at Kaysville on Saturday morning was a nail biter !  We were down by one point with 46 second left in the game. 

We DID IT !!!  Yahoo !!!

Thatcher's game in Layton was an hour later.  He plays center also, I have a hard time keeping track of him.  Wishing he would wear bright socks also !!  He is number 46 - there in the middle, with the tall grey socks next to the Ref.   We didn't stay till the end of the game, but unfortunately they lost :( 

Then we headed to Payson's football came at Ben Lomond stadium, 18 miles and 25 minutes away.  Hurry Hurry !!!  This girl was there to cheer him on, and keep Grandma company in the stands.

Grandpa Gary, Grandpa Roger, Landon (Dad) - one of the coaches, Bright, Pays, and Bex in front, Kacey (Mom), and Grandma Ben.  She was a trooper as we drug her to three games - an all day affair !!!

Thatcher finally got his first game, made up Monday night

We missed Pays' first game (while doing tomato juice) - but we'll catch his 2nd one tomorrow.
We just got done with a 3 hour game (Treyson's JV game) last night, and will have 3 tomorrow on Saturday.  It's the SEASON !!!!

The garden is winding down.  We picked all the peppers because there were so many on the plants that the branches were breaking.  There was about 20 pounds of peppers !!!!   All of the onions are dug and drying, and we gave away the last of the 40 cabbages.  The corn is about 2/3rds gone, and we pulled out the cucumbers so they would quit producing because we were sick of them !!  I'll pick tomatoes this morning, and will do spaghetti sauce today.  We are still waiting on the Roma tomatoes to ripen...........it may never happen !!

Poor little Bexlee in pink, cried as brother and sister caught the bus.  She starts Pre-school with Miss Sophie in two weeks.  

 

August (first part) - almost up to date !!

This is the middle of the night rain storm that did so much damage !

First day of School - BIG SENIOR !!

The air quality has been terrible from all of the smoke coming from fires in Oregon and California

Football has started !!   Treyson, Tagg, Thatcher and Payson are all playing.  We enjoy supporting them, and are kept VERY busy with games.
