Saturday in Round Valley
We went for a ride up in the mountains of Round Valley on Saturday. Zac is in charge of a certain section of road (keeping it cleared of trees, brush, rocks), and so we all went and helped and had a picnic. It was a great day !

Last night there was a storm..............
So I did what any self-respecting Grandma would do.
I grabbed my grandsons, and we went and sat on the front porch.
My dad used to do this with me. I remember it like it was yesterday, and now I LOVE thunderstorms. I hope to make some memories with my grandkids.

Today I will plant a garden

5pm - Garden is planted !! Thanks to my mom and dad who are master gardeners. I started planting about 3pm, and got a row of peas, and row of carrots, and a 1/2 row of radishes, and a 1/2 row of lettuce in. They came just as I was starting on the corn. We got 4 rows of corn planted, and will plant 4 more rows in 2 weeks. We also planted a Roma tomato, a crook neck squash, a yellow zucchini, a cucumber, and a pumpkin. I am so happy. Stay tune for a new picture later tonight.

Somebody's getting a GARDEN !

It doesn't get any better than BARNYARD dirt - especially a barnyard that has been around for 50-6- years. I can hardly wait to get my hands dirty :)
